Testimonials
Lindsay Hornsby’s visit to our school library was nothing short of spectacular! Speaking to two classes at once, she held every single student’s attention with her deep knowledge of the comic-making process. For our students, who reach for graphic novels constantly, seeing a professional author and illustrator explain their craft and share their personal experiences was invaluable. Her ability to connect her journey to the students’ passions was truly amazing. It was clear that she sparked a level of excitement for literacy and art within the group.
Matthew H., 4th Grade Teacher
Lindsay was SO engaging with our students! They love reading graphic novels, and were so excited to see the process that goes into making graphic novels – it was more in depth than they ever imagined. Students were engaged and asking questions the whole time, and were sad to go at the end of the presentation!
